Network, PonckHockie Market is not just a grocery store; it’s a community revolution born from the need for accessible, healthy food in PonckHockie, a neighborhood in Kingston recognized as a food desert.
Join us on February 24th from 12-3pm as we kick off the market with a celebration and highlight of local, black-owned food vendors and resources in observance of Black History Month.
We are excited to welcome: Di Sweet Spot and their sweet treats, We Got the Juice and their healthy hot food and smoothies, and Ruby Mae’s Soul Food as our vendors for the February 24th market. The February market will also introduce our Educational Programming with a conversation about nutrition and women’s health with Dr. Ashanda Saint Jean of WMC Health Network.
