Join us for our first HVSFW event of the year for an – Earth Month Clothing Swap hosted at maison après on Saturday, April 20th in Kingston!

Don’t have anything to swap, but still wanna shop? Please join us!

Libations and provisions will be served.

Accepted items: clean men’s + women’s clothing, shoes, accessories (bags, jewelry, belts), athletic wear (sports bras/tops ok)
Not accepted: underwear, bras, socks, children’s items

Welcome Spring: Community Celebration of Rebirth

Celebrate Earth Day weekend and Spring’s reawakening at Brunel Park!
3 – 5pm Volunteers are Welcome to help install Animal Habitats
Welcoming the return of our winged, feathered, and four-legged friends
by continuing the installation of Ecophilia Modern Habitats, constructed by
our neighbors, local students, and the Girl Scouts from Troop 60059.
5 – 7pm Unveiling of our Restored Statuary & Totem Poles
Enjoy free refreshments & the music of harpist, Julia Haines
Stroll the grounds, discover the habitats, and marvel anew at Brunel’s creations.
A self-guided scavenger hunt will be available for our young visitors.
Please park along the side road in front of Local Goods and the Boiceville Inn,
perpendicular to Route 28. Or take the free UCAT Z bus from Woodstock or Kingston to
DeSilva Road in Boiceville. Rain Date 3/21, 1-5pm. 845-205-3839 for more info.

Earth Day Fair

21st Annual Earth Day Fair – Free Admission, rain or shine.
Celebrate Earth Day on Sat, April 20th, 11am – 4pm at the Reformed Church of New Paltz, 92 Huguenot St, New Paltz! This year’s theme is Planet vs. Plastics. Come learn about sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics and fast fashion, as well as the 7 R’s for Green Living. This is a free, family-friendly, zero-waste event with children’s activities, food, nature walks, and live music! There will be information and presentations on composting, plastic issues, insulation, community solar, electric vehicles and more! Plus you can take a stroll down Huguenot Street among the United Nations flags and visit the rail trail to view educational signs about how to live more sustainably.
