Exhibit will showcase the works of 17 visual artists, writers and photographers who traveled together to Orkney, Scotland. Many of the pieces were completed in Scotland where artists worked in plein air and were invited to share space at the printshop in Stromness. Each of the pieces illustrates the artist’s unique reflection on the Orkney landscape where wind and water and sky dominate. The show will run through July 10. The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project (PKJP) was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past seven years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This jazz jam session is every Tuesday from 7-10pm.
