Tai Chi for Health/Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention
September 16 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:30 pm on Monday and Wednesday, repeating until November 5, 2020
A relatively short sequence of tai chi movements that are easy to learn and safe for people with arthritis and other physical limitations. Developed by Dr Paul Lam and a team of tai chi and medical specialists through the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Although especially effective for arthritis, it is a great way for anyone to improve their health and wellness. Free – thanks to the Ulster County Office for the Aging. Their requirement is that people are seniors and attend two classes a week. The classes run for 8 weeks. To register, call Ulster Co. Office For the Aging at (845) 340-3456.
