Screening of Oscar-nominated documentary at Elting Memorial Library

The Elting Memorial Library will host a February 25 screening of the documentary film Stranger at the Gate (recently nominated for an Oscar for best short documentary) followed by a discussion moderated by Shaireen Rasheed, a professor in Philosophy and Education and Issues of Race, Class, Gender, Sexuality and Social Justice at Long Island University. The in-person film screening begins at 3 p.m. Discussion begins at 3:30 p.m. The discussion can be viewed from Zoom or in-person.
