Litter Pick Up at Sam’s Point

Join the staff of Sam’s Point in partnership with the Ellenville Public Library to keep our Park Preserve litter free. Hikers often leave behind water bottles, candy wrappers, and orange peels. Litter not only detracts from the beauty of our natural world, but also endangers wildlife. Enjoy a morning at Sam’s Point with your family making a difference. We will meet at the Sam’s Point Visitor Center and walk a total of three miles around the Loop Road. This event is recommended for children over the age of eight, accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Pre-registration is required by calling Sam’s Point at 845-647-7989.
