Retirees to meet November 7

Retirees of the New Paltz Community invite retired men and women everywhere to the monthly breakfast meeting of Monday, November 7, 8 a.m., at the New Paltz Plaza Diner.

Sheldon Stowe, from Cornwall-on-Hudson, will present a picture display and artifacts about Bannerman’s Island. Stowe grew up within sight of the island and was allowed to gather items as a teen, working with his father who was the curator of the West Point Museum. Currently, Stowe is a part-time tour guide on Bannerman’s Island.
