Ray Smith: The Legend Lives On

The Jerry Bartlett Angling Collection presents Sporting Legends of the Catskills. An accomplished fly fisherman and casting expert, Ray was an expert and prolific fly tyer, tying flies commercially for the former Folkerts Sporting Goods in Phoenicia. A sought-after fishing guide, his clients included numerous celebrities of the day, such as Babe Ruth and radio host Fred Allen.
