Pollinators Lighting Up the Mid-Hudson Bridge June 21-27

June 21, 2021 @ 7:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until June 27, 2021

To commemorate National Pollinator week, the Mid-Hudson Bridge between Poughkeepsie and Highland will be draped in 27,000 orange and yellow lights in honor of pollinators. Pollinators play a vital role in our lives and all that they do for us and the plants that rely on them. They provide one-third of all the foods we eat, including the really important ones like chocolate, vanilla and coffee; not to mention apples, blueberries and even the silage that cows need to provide milk.
