Organizing meeting date change for Saugerties Democratic Committee

The Saugerties Democratic Committee (SDC) will hold a special organizing meeting on Thursday, July 14, 7 p.m., to be held virtually only, over Zoom.
The primary purpose of the meeting is to elect the officers of the Saugerties Democratic Committee — Chair, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer — for the 2022-2024 term of office.
Any person who is an enrolled Democrat and resides in Saugerties may be nominated by a Committee member for an officer position. The candidate does not have to be a member of the Committee.
To be considered as a candidate for SDC officer, in accordance with County Rule Article IX Section 3, you are required to notify the Town Chair seven days before the meeting: NejlaLiias, nejlasdc@gmail.com. You are also invited to provide Louise Bloomfield, Secretary, lbloomfieldsdc@gmail.com, with a statement of candidacy to be circulated with the agenda three days before the meeting.
