Opening Reception for 3 New Exhibitions at Woodstock Artists Association & Museum

Active Members’ Autumn Exhibition, in the main gallery, shows through 11/7. It is an opportunity for viewers to see and purchase the work of both experienced and newer artists at WAAM. Stephen Green-Armytage: Extraordinary Birds shows through 11/7 in the solo gallery. It features a selection of works by photographer Stephen Green-Armytage. These color photographs of chickens, pheasants, and pigeons reflect the artist’s interest in subjects that are interesting, beautiful, striking, maybe charming, and maybe funny. Professional Practice: Staff Picks from the Permanent Collection will be on display through January 7th. The show explores the breadth of the museum’s collection and offers viewers an insight into how staff members connect with the collection on both personal and professional levels. Gallery hours: Thursday–Sunday, 12pm–5pm.
