Mill Brook Preserve, Inc. celebrates spring with festival and fundraiser

Mill Brook Preserve, Inc. will host a spring festival and fundraiser on Saturday, April 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sunset Ridge Trailhead. Enjoy activities and education including the third annual treasure trails rock hunt, ecology-oriented games and activities, crafts, snacks and more. The event is free and open to all.
The Preserve will also offer free guided walks on the following dates:
• Saturday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Family sensory walk with educator Adam Harlec (email aharlec@gmail.com to sign up).
• Friday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Open discovery walk with naturalist Lynn Bowdery (email lynn.bowdery@gmail.com) to sign up.
The trails are open to the public for free, with entrances at Sunset Ridge Road, North Manheim Boulevard and George Danskin Way. Trail maps are posted at entrances. The land is jointly owned by the village and town of New Paltz. More information is available online at millbrookpreserve.org.
