Learn How to Care for Your Animals in an Emergency

May 23 @ 8:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 8:00 pm on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until May 31, 2020

The best way to protect your household from the effects of a disaster is to have a disaster plan. If you are a pet owner, that plan must include your pets. Being prepared can save their lives. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s (CCEUC) Animal Emergency Preparedness webpage offers information on the best ways to care for your pets and livestock in the event of an emergency. There is also information on how to get involved as a County volunteer to help teach and implement emergency procedures in the event of a disaster. Info: 845-340-3990, ext. 327; jbd222@cornell.edu.
