An initiative that encourages all members of the Kingston community to read the same book and to gather (virtually) for discussions about race and racial justice. By coming together as a community, we can raise the level of awareness, engage each other in honest and challenging conversations and, critically, take the next step: commit to dismantling racism. The chosen book is How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi. Info: kingstonreads.org; roughdraftbar@gmail.com
