Talk by Museum Trustee David Forshay of Willowemoc on the importance of root cellars in the past as a place to store the winter food supply, including vegetables, fruits, nuts or other foods. Includes information on root cellar construction in your basement. This is a detailed class with everything you need to know about the history of root cellars in the northeast and how to build your own.
