HUDSY announces Beyond the Screen, a night of local films, music and connection

HUDSY, the streaming video app for the Hudson Valley (www.HUDSY.tv), announces the first in a series of free community events called Beyond the Screen on December 16 at the Rosendale Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. with a dance party from 9 to 11 p.m.
Beyond the Screen are in-person events that are part film screening, part live performance and part party. The December 16 event features:
Lady Verse as the emcee for the evening, DJ Shaman Vibez on the turntables before and after, a live music and dance performances by MVORE, screening of films by local creators as well as HUDSY originals, giveaways, networking and connecting.
Food and beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic drinks will be available (for a fee).
HUDSY Co-Founder Jesse Brown says: “Connection is needed more than ever, and while we have created the HUDSY App to share our stories digitally, we also feel it is important to compliment that with in-person events that allow us to connect on a deeper level, while also supporting local theaters.”
