Dialogues for the Ear & Eye with George Quasha and Josepha Gutelius

June 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 7:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating until October 4, 2022

This monthly series is held the first Tuesday of the month and is curated by Bruce Weber and Joanne Pagano Weber. Session #1 will feature poet George Quasha and visual artist Josepha Gutelius.
Quasha is a poet, artist, musician and writer working in diverse mediums to explore certain principles (i.e. axiality, ecoproprioception). For his primary medium poiesis he has invented the genre preverbs as a medium of axial language and “linguality at zero point.”
Gutelius is an artist, poet and playwright. Her paintings explore the vitality, crises and grim humor of contemporary life, with a sociopolitical viewpoint.
The event will also include a limited open mic for writers or musicians who will have three to five minutes to present their work. Sign up for the open mic at the door.
