An event every 2 months that begins at 7:00 pm on day Second of the month, repeating until April 25, 2023
Gardiner Library offers a community writing workshop with Gracie Bialecki. This monthly workshop series meets the second Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Learn how to start writing creatively and how to develop a writing practice. Explore different avenues for inspiration via reading and discussion of outside texts, writing prompts and reading aloud. The goal of the course is to encourage artistic exploration and writing in any form, so the classroom environment will be welcoming, supportive and consistently respectful.
Bialecki is a writer, literary coach and workshop facilitator. Her work has appeared in various publications including Catapult and Epiphany Magazine where she was a monthly columnist. She is the co-founder of the storytelling series Thirst, and the author of the novel Purple Gold (Antibookclub).
