Community drum circle in Gardiner

Gardiner Library will host a monthly community drum circle with Brenda Marie every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring a drum, chair, blanket, percussion item and/or dance ribbons. Drums will be available to share. Join the Facebook page Drum Your Heart Out and direct questions through this page.

After participating for many years in Beacon, Nyack, Newburgh and Woodstock and leading in drum circles, Brenda Marie is ready to share this experience. Drumming and dancing is an opportunity to feel free and experience healing and the joy of the drums. Brenda Marie has been under the tutelage of Assane Badji Sylli, Master African Dance and Drum teacher. Open to all ages.
