Come From Away is the next Movies With Spirit screening on March 18

The film of the hit Broadway musical Come From Away is this month’s Movies With Spirit screening on March 18, 7 p.m., at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 22 Livingston Street in Kingston.
The musical drama comedy, with an ensemble cast, recounts a week starting September 11, 2001, when 38 planes, carrying some 7,000 passengers, were ordered to land in the small Town of Gander, Newfoundland, population 11,000, after the Federal Aviation Administration closed U.S. airspace right after the terrorist attacks.

The screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion. Refreshments will be served. Attendees over age 12 are asked to contribute $10 a person.
