Camp Lightheart for Children of Breast Cancer Survivors.

A PROGRAM FROM BREAST CANCER OPTIONS. Camp takes place August 7-10, 2022 but please contact now to get information. Omega Institute, Rhinebeck NY. A free sleep-away camp for children of breast cancer survivors or children who have lost their mother to the disease. Age 8-15 The only service we know of for children in this situation. Camp provides a support group for them. They have fun, cook healthy food, hike and participate in sharing circles where they verbalize their fears for the first time. Attendees must be vaccinated.
