|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until August 9, 2022

Gardiner Library presents Art and Nature Series: Pollinators, Bugs, Plants and More. This four-week series starts Tuesday, July 19 through August 9 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for ages 8-11. Children will join art teacher and local floral artisan Elissa Rinaldo Cimino to explore the world of pollinator plants, the animals that need them and how they use the plants to help all of us. Weekly art projects will highlight this new knowledge of pollinators and their importance in our environment. Other art projects will give children a chance to enhance and contribute to the library’s new pollinator garden. Made possible through a grant from the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club.

Registration is required on the online calendar at www.gardinerlibrary.org. The library is located at 133 Farmer’s Turnpike in Gardiner.
