6th Day of Jewish Learning in 2021

January 24, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Presented by The Jewish Federation of Ulster County. Coordinated by Rabbi Ellen K. Triebwasser.

Though we’ll miss gathering in person as we’ve done successfully in years past at SUNY Ulster, the virtual format will enable everyone, near and far, to attend, with no parking or worries of driving in wintery conditions.

Expect a wide range of topics including Listening to the Voice of our Mothers, A Brief History of Tu b’Shevat, the New Year of the Trees, the New Jewish Environmental Movement, the Deeper Meaning of Food through Chasidic Tales, and much more.”
Sessions will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m., followed by an informal virtual coffee from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Additionally, Day of Jewish Learning will feature an hour of storytelling for children and families, presented by the Federation’s PJ Library Program Coordinator Desirée O’Clair.

Registration is in progress at www.ucjf.org. Donations will be accepted, with a suggestion of $18.
